Generative AI is a technological disruption that is likely to change the way we interact with computers. The ability to process and generate human communication media, such as natural language or images, is truly game-changing. However, the advent of generative AI also poses certain security risks: For example, the automated generation of exploits and their AI-guided successful execution opens up new attack vectors, and fake news undermines our trust in ubiquitous media. In the talk, we will address these issues in a practical way and show how easy it is to actually use AI for such tasks. We will conclude with an open discussion on how to mitigate these risks.
